1- Our favorite Market in Paris

The market on the President Wilson Avenue is highly recommended.  The seafood stalls are amazing, and you can buy the most amazing rotisserie chicken, cheese (comté, cantal etc...) and fruit for lunch. All the produce look great, we love the fruits there (blueberries) and the fresh bread. Even the flowers are fabulous.

A great example of a typical market. Fresh and delicious foods.

2 - Modern and Contemporary Art

The Grand Palais hosts an appointment of modern and contemporary art other than FIAC. Moreover, this year, Switzerland will be honored to reveal to the public its taste for all things minimal and offbeat sense of humour, like the country itself. From April 5th-8th 2018, Art Paris Art Fair will bring together 142 galleries from 23 different countries at the Grand Palais. Diversity and discovery are the key words of this leading springtime event for modern and contemporary art in Paris.

Much more sport than you imagine, but whilst having fun so you will dance for hours without even realising it, in a very friendly atmosphere.  Georges and Rosy’s Dance School was opened in 1930 by a couple who both shared a love for the art of ballroom dance. As international ballroom champions in 1934, the couple were known for their skill and passion and people flocked to get their chance to dance and learn alongside them. In its heyday, nearly 100 people would fill their dance classes full of energy everyday. One little room, one big dance party. The school teaches many styles of dance such as tango, slow foxtrot and jive which can be taught one-to-one during the day or for evening classes. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, the school welcomes people at all levels and you can even get the little ones involved. On Friday evenings the school holds a mini soirée after class with wine, nibbles and plenty of dancing for any members who wish to attend.

4- A True Gem

The atmosphere there is buzzing, people are coming and going, yet it is relaxed and laid back. It is usually full, but not full enough to not to get a table. You will see that both locals and tourist frequent the place. The service and the food are great. Everything tast delicious (nothing too heavy)! It seems that no matter what you will order, will be great, as everything looks delish. This Cafe is a perfect companion for a parisian experience, whether you just want to take away some nice desserts or you want to sit down and take things in.
