on our front page this week…
Entry to this museum is via a lovely garden, along meandering paths. Once inside there is another meandering path, with a river of words flowing down it, up to the main exhibitions. This is not just African art, as per some reviews, but indigneous art and culture from around the world. The garden around the museum is a lovely place to relax and has great views of the Eiffel Tower.
Musée du Quai Branly until November 12
Rue Crémieux in the 12th arrondissement is one of the most colorful street in Paris
WHERE WE LIKE TO GO BEST
Musée Cluny as seen from the medieval inspired garden!
Very quiet museum just off of Boulevard St. Germain. Filled with medieval items including religious art and scupltures, jewellery, weapons, armour, furniture, etc. Most impressive of course are the famous Lady and the Unicorn tapestries - worth seeing if you are a history buff! We love to have a picnic lunch in the medieval inspired garden attached to the museum that is nice and secluded from the street
Musée de Cluny 6 Place Paul Painlevé, 75005 Paris
ONE OF OUR FAVORITES PLACES
Passage Brady :
This narrow street feels like a little piece of India in Paris. There are restaurants and shops and it's full of life. We love to have a nice meal there and some really good deals in the supermarket !
